Outlook 2007 with service pack 1 is required on a Windows XP or a Vista operating system. 1) Go to “Control Panel” and double click on “Mail”. 2) For “Mail” settings click “Add” and give a name to your profile. ![]() 3) When Prompted with “Add New E-mail Account” screen, check “Manually configure server settings” and click next: ![]() 4) For “Email Service” choose “Microsoft Exchange” and click next. ![]() 5) For “Microsoft Exchange Settings” type “e2k7ccr.mckendree.edu” for the Microsoft Exchange server name and “username@mckendree.edu” (your email address) for the username and click “More Settings”. ![]() 6) On the “Microsoft Exchange” options screen click on Connections Tab, select “Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP” and click on “Exchange Proxy Settings”. ![]() 7) For “Microsoft Proxy Settings” type “email.mckendree.edu” for the “URL to connect to my proxy server for Exchange”, uncheck all check boxes and select “NTLM Authentication” for the authentication method. ![]() 8) Click OK / Next to come out of all the setup options and launch Outlook. |
